Terms of Use
Last updated: February 18, 2026
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Chat-Web.co.uk (the "Service"), including our website, chat rooms, and any related features. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by C3 Media Marketing. Real-time chat infrastructure and moderation tooling may be provided by 123FreeChat as a technical service provider.
1. Eligibility & Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years of age to access or use Chat-Web. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. We may restrict or terminate access where we believe a user is underage or otherwise not eligible.
2. What Chat-Web Is
Chat-Web provides public and semi-public chat rooms where users can communicate in real time. The Service may allow guest access without registration. You understand that chat content is user-generated and may be visible to other users.
3. Account, Nicknames & Responsibility
Where nicknames, guest handles, or registered accounts are available, you are responsible for activity associated with your session or account. Do not impersonate others, misrepresent affiliation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user’s account or device.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. Prohibited behaviour includes, but is not limited to:
- Harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech, or targeted abuse
- Posting or soliciting unlawful content, or encouraging illegal activity
- Sharing personal data of others without permission (doxing)
- Spam, flooding, scams, phishing, or deceptive links
- Malware, exploits, scraping, or automated access intended to disrupt the Service
- Attempting to bypass bans, moderation actions, or security controls
5. Safety, Minors, and Zero-Tolerance Content
Chat-Web does not permit content that exploits or endangers minors. Any material involving sexual exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited. Where we identify or are alerted to such content, we may preserve relevant information and report to appropriate authorities where required by law.
6. User-Generated Content & Conduct
You are solely responsible for any messages, files, usernames, or other content you submit through the Service (collectively, "User Content"). We do not guarantee that other users will behave appropriately and you use the Service at your own discretion.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, transmit, display, and process User Content as necessary to operate, moderate, secure, and improve the Service.
7. Moderation & Enforcement
To protect the community and the integrity of the Service, we may monitor, moderate, restrict, or remove content and users at our discretion, including for suspected rule violations, safety issues, or legal compliance.
Enforcement actions may include warnings, message removal, temporary restrictions, bans, blocks, or other technical measures. We are not obligated to provide notice or an appeal process, though we may do so in some cases.
8. Reporting Abuse
If you believe a user is violating these Terms or behaving dangerously, you can report it using available reporting tools (where provided) or by contacting us. Include as much detail as possible (room name, nickname, timestamps).
9. Third-Party Services & Links
The Service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, analytics, security, and chat infrastructure. We may also display links shared by users or third parties. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected and used. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our Privacy Policy.
11. Service Availability & Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, chat rooms, or access methods. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or error-free.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that chat content will be accurate, safe, or suitable.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chat-Web, C3 Media Marketing, and its service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount (if any) you paid to use the Service during the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including for suspected violations of these Terms, abuse, security concerns, or legal compliance. You may stop using the Service at any time.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
