About Chat Web
A free UK chat network, run by people who were chatters first.
The short version
What Chat Web Is
Chat Web is a UK chat network for adults. Seven live rooms — adult, gay, roleplay, sex, video, mobile and naughty chat — all free, all 18+, all open around the clock. There's no registration, no app to install and no fee anywhere on the network: pick a nickname, confirm your age, and you're talking to real people.
That's the whole pitch. Everything else on this page is about how we keep it that way.
The people
Chatters First, Admins Second
Chat Web is run by a small team who have been building and moderating chat rooms since the days when a chat room was the internet's living room — well over two decades of keeping rooms open, friendly and full. We were regulars before we were admins, and it shows in how the network runs.
That background is why the rooms work the way they do: guest access instead of sign-up walls, human moderators instead of bots-only, and rules written to protect the conversation rather than to cover ourselves. We know what makes a room worth coming back to, because we've spent half our lives in them.
The principles
Free Means Free. Anonymous Means Anonymous.
No subscriptions, no paywalls, no "premium" tier that quietly holds the good bits hostage. Every room and every feature on Chat Web is free, and staying free is a design decision, not a promotion.
The same goes for privacy. A nickname is the only identity you need here — no real names, no linked accounts, no phone numbers. You decide what to share and with whom, and our privacy policy spells out the little we collect and the much we don't.
The rules
How the Rooms Are Kept
Every room on Chat Web is 18+ with no exceptions. Age confirmation is required at the door, and anyone misrepresenting their age is removed and banned. Beyond that, each room has active human moderators enforcing the community guidelines: consent is not optional, harassment isn't tolerated, and what's welcome in one room isn't automatically welcome in another.
If someone crosses a line, the report function reaches a moderator directly from inside the chat — no forms, no waiting for an email. We'd rather lose a rule-breaker than a good room, and the regulars will tell you the rooms stay pleasant because of it.
Questions, problems, or want to flag something outside the chat? Get in touch — a person reads it.
